SHEET METAL WORKER
Airducter is a Darwin based owned and operated organisation providing industrial and commercial air conditioning and mechanical services in the NT since 1983. We are seeking a qualified Sheet Metal worker on a full-time basis to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal
products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drain pipes, and furnace casings at our Berrimah factory.
Key Duties include:

Read and interpreting drawings;

General fabrication, insulation, assembly and installation of sheet metal product; stainless steel and aluminum welding;

Operating computer controlled machines and fabricating machines, and monitoring the machine and the process; and,

Install assemblies such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning ducts, inspecting, assembling, and
smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.
Skills and experience
-
Possess a sheet metal qualification and have experience in this field;

Experience in a HVAC&R industry;

Good analytical skills and enjoy problem solving;

Good hand-eye coordination;

High level of attention to detail;

Take pride in your work;

Manual Drivers Licence is mandatory;

Ability to successfully gain various federal police and security clearances as required; and,

OCHRE Card (Working with Children), or have the ability to gain.
