BERRIMAH FARM MOLECULAR LAB

The only laboratory of it’s kind in Northern Australia, the new Berrimah Farm Molecular Laboratory is a state of the art facility which provides biosecurity containment level 3. Due to the nature of the specialist works involved, we were the successful mechanical services contractor for this project due to our extensive experience working in laboratories.

Airducter supplied and installed an air conditioning system comprising of chilled water ducted units, chilled water air handling units and wall mounted split units; chilled water pipework system; general exhaust systems to serve PC3 Lab, QC2, Cleaners Area, Dirty Reception and Washing Room; a fume exhaust system to serve the fume cupboards; BMS and MSSB; cold rooms and freezer rooms; and  negative pressure rooms.

This project was delivered successfully during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and had minimal supply chain issues with zero lost time injuries.
