KATHERINE DISTRICT HOSPITAL WOMEN'S WARD THEATRE & CHILLED WATER UPGRADE

Katherine District Hospital is a 60 bed public regional hospital servicing Katherine and its surrounding areas.

Airducter successfully completed the reconstruction of the Chilled Water System within the Allan Bromwich wing and the relocation of the Chillers, as well as the replacement of air handling systems to the Operating Theatres located within the Allan Bromwich wing at Katherine District Hospital.

Strict safety measures were put in place such as air monitoring and numerous site inspections were conducted due to the works being completed in an operational ward, and one operating theatre was available 24/7. Liaising effectively with hospital staff during the works was paramount on this project as the works were located in a regional town which is a 4 hour drive from Darwin.

This project was completed to a high standard with no interruption to hospital operation whatsover.
