KATHERINE FIRE STATION

The Katherine Fire Station project entailed the construction of a new state of the art regional Fire Station servicing the greater Katherine region.

Airducter was the head mechanical services contractor for this project which consisted of the manufacture, supply, delivery and installation on site of mechanical services including testing, commissioning and a twelve month maintenance and defect liability period.

Airducter successfully installed ducted VRF air-conditioning systems with associated components, standalone split air-conditioning systems, ducted packaged outside air pre-conditioning units, toilet exhaust systems, general exhaust systems, kitchen exhaust systems, a compressed air system, as well as mechanical-electrical controls including switchboards, sensors, wiring and control panels.

Due to Airducter’s vast experience with working in remote regions such as Katherine, coordinating site personnel, subcontractors and equipment was successfully carried out on this project.
