LARRAKEYAH DEFENCE BASE NORFORCE

Airducter has extensive experience working on Defence bases throughout the Northern Territory, having completed in excess of 30 large scale projects with the most recent being the NORFORCE Regimental HQ located within the Larrakeyeah Defence Base.

Building 1 (RHQ) included a new chilled water pipe system, air handling units, chilled water ducted units, wall mounted splits, transfer duct to return air, outdoor air systems to plant and communication rooms, exhaust  air systems to ablution areas, lift shaft exhaust air systems, roof cowls, secure penetrations, plenums, building management systems and mechanical services switchboards.

The second building included in the redevelopment project is the OSS building. The works completed were chilled water systems to connect to the RHQ building, dehumidification, transferring duct for return air and mechanical ventilation spaces, exhaust air systems to ablution areas, exhaust systems to compressor room, generator maintenance, POL and waste oil stores, battery exhaust system to battery store, installation of industrial fans, vehicle exhaust systems and welding exhaust systems to cover the service bays and marine repair spaces, roof cowls and plenums, compressed air systems, reticulating oil and grease systems, waste oil collection systems, building management systems (BMS) and Mechanical service switchboards (MSSBs).

This award winning project was completed during the COVID-19 Pandemic successfully and to the highest of standards required for an Australian Defence Base.
