PALMERSTON REGIONAL HOSPITAL

Opening its doors in August 2018, Palmerston Regional Hospital is a newly built hospital providing a range of specialist health care services to Darwin and its surrounding regions.

Airducter successfully carried out the supply, installation and commissioning of all chillers; cooling towers; chilled water air handling units; chilled water pipework; 17,500m² of insulated ductwork; pumps; toilet, general and kitchen exhaust systems; medical gas; pneumatic tube system; a Building Management System (BMS); sterilisers; mortuary cold rooms; and a full kitchen fit-out.

Airducter also installed E-Water, a chemical free, sustainable and highly effective and innovative bacteria killing system that is connected to hand washing bays throughout the kitchen.

Airducter’s air conditioning system on this project is NEBB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau) certified.
